This was my first visit and I wanted to try the shrimp fettuccine (Shrimp Alfredo) because you don't always see it on a Mediterranean cuisine menu. I love seafood anyway. So my son also ordered kebab (which they only serve two pieces unlike other restaurants). We ended up waiting over one hour for both. The server kept bringing out bread because we were eating hummus. We also didn't get the pickles that everyone else was getting. Hummus can get you pretty full if you're waiting over an hour. Suddenly the server comes to the table saying that he's sorry but my fettuccine takes a while and this and that. LOL...I didn't order anything fancy like roast duck. Did they have to bring in shrimp from a ship? Anyhow he offered a free appetizer which was ok. About fifteen minutes later our food was served. My fettuccine was rather plain and came with no broccoli and the sauce wasn't that creamy. My son only got two kebabs which like I said some restaurants offer four. Was it a fun experience? Not really. I took most of it home since by that time I wasn't particularly hungry. It's not enjoyable waiting so long for a rather plain dish. Why have it on the menu if you can't cook it on time? π«©

had my first dinner at Zarzoor Restaurant in MI, and overall it was a lovely experience! The location is great, with plenty of parking, and the restaurant design is very nice. Our waitress was so friendly, welcoming, and kind. We ordered the family meal for seven people, and the food itself was wonderful in flavor. Just one small piece of friendly feedback: the food arrived cold, which unfortunately took away from its delicious taste. I mentioned this to the manager, who was incredibly understanding and promised to work on improving this for the future. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying those great flavors at the right temperature!

We had the most delicious feast here and the service and atmosphere were absolutely lovely. Special thanks to Leevia who was very warm and made our evening very special! We especially loved the Zubaidi fish (grilled), the Zarzoor kebob and the baba ghannouj but everything was fantastic :)

It was our first time at Zarzoor, and we had a wonderful experience!! Abe, our waiter, was so kind and helpful, answering alllll of our questions and helping us to choose our dishes! We were surprised it was Iraqi food, one of the most delicious cuisine we have tried! We had three different kinds of soups, lentil, broccoli and lemon chicken! My favorite was the lentils soup! We ordered tabouli salad and it was great (even with a touch of pomegranates that was surprisingly refreshing!). We ordered for dinner the combo platter for 2, that was enough for the three if us and take home! All the meats were great, in taste and in texture (even my mother in law loved the scallop chicken, and she doesnβt like chicken!). The kabobs were flavorful, just like Iβm accustomed to. It came with white and brown rixe, but make no mistake, it was the delicious Jazmin flaky and flavored rices that can be eaten by itself! Again, just a wonderful and flavorful experience, that ended with their complimentary black tea! We will definitely be back!!
